My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sabrina was listed at a Baldwin shelter as an 8 yr old, male, Yorkshire Terrier w/ a slight eye infection whose time was up. She is not a male, and she also turned out not to have an eye infection but is totally blind. After being evaluated by Dr. Chang the eye specialist he determined there is no glaucoma or any other painful condition that might be causing her blindness. She was most likely born blind, or her optic nerve suffered damage, but the bad news is: she cannot have surgery to restore her vision. Sabrina is a beautiful 5 year old, 10lbs, Yorkie mix, who is house trained, gets along well with dogs, cats, and everyone she meets. Sabrina is a truly wonderful dog who has captured the hearts of everyone. She loves to play with one of the other dogs at her foster home, is not at all a barker, is very loving and just an all round charming dog. She would be best in a home without small children. Actually she would be a great companion for a senior or someone who works from home and wants some quiet company. She has been vet checked and in perfect health, has all her shots and is now mircrochiped and spayed. This special girl deserves a home of her very own.
