Hi I’m Pepper! I’m a loyal and loving poodle mix who is looking for a forever home. I am an all-around fun dog who is a pleasure to be with. I enjoy the company of people and I’m really good at cuddling. I’m six years old, and I think playing chase with a small ball (and especially a squeaky toy!) is so much fun. You can sit right on the couch and throw the ball to me - I’ll bring it back every time! I really love walks too and I enjoy sniffing around in a fenced yard. I was rescued by a wonderful family, but sadly, my big brother and I don’t get along (he’s grumpy and wants to be the alpha dog). After this experience, I think that I would prefer to be the only dog in your house without cats and no small children. I’m clean and I don’t shed (some people call me hypo-allergenic), but I need regular grooming to keep me looking my tangle-free best. I’m housetrained (of course!), neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccines. Did I mention that I’ve gotten the best veterinary care at Little Friends of Ferndale Vet? I easily take a small pill with my breakfast and dinner to keep me seizure free (don’t worry, they were small seizures and with the generic medicine, (very inexpensive phenobarbital), I don’t have them anymore!). I’m sweet and intelligent too; I just started training and I quickly learned “sit” and “stay”. I’ll do anything for a doggie treat! I have big brown eyes that will just melt your heart. I’m ready to be a part of your family. Love, Pepper.
