Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sassy was born January 6, 2015. Sassy and her mom Goldie came to their foster family when Sassy was two weeks old. She began to develop and grow and now at 13 weeks old, she weighs approximately five pounds. She has a very unique coloring that will eventually change. As for now, she is brown, tan & black with touches of white. Her ears are floppy black and her nose is black along with her eyebrows which make her very expressive and adorable. She has a long black tail and always has her tail up. She is a very happy and well adjusted puppy despite that her eyes did not develop and she is blind. The whites of her eyes show but she does not have vision. That doesn’t stop Sassy Pants (as her foster family calls her). Her name suits her perfectly. She is sassy, but with a gentle spirit who loves to give kisses, plays with her Mom and loves toys & bones to chew on. She is hardly afraid of anything. She gets around great in her foster home and only bumps into a wall or object if something is out of place. She loves her back yard hopping like a bunny carefree in the sun and grass. She maneuvers the outdoor steps beautifully up into the house. Like many puppies she is hesitant to go down the steps, but pick her up and put her outside and away she goes. Sassy is a hearty eater. She loves everything from eggs, to vegetables & fruits, to plain yogurt, cottage cheese, and whatever else is served. Chicken and turkey are favorites. Sassy has received all of her puppy shots. She is healthy, strong and her teeth & nails are sharp as all puppies are. Sassy will eventually need to be spayed, micro chipped and rabies vaccine when she comes of age. Sassy will need continued guidance with potty training (she goes outside when taken out) but has not mastered a pee pad in the house. She will thrive with another companion dog. Though it would be amazing if she and her mom Goldie could stay together as Goldie directs and guides Sassy from her sense of smell and sound, they can be adopted separately. Sassy can be vocal when playing hard and is prone to jumping and chewing as all healthy, fun puppies do. She is becoming a good listener.
