Here's what the humans have to say about me:
05-07-08 Abednego is a very tiny( 3.14 lbs!) Yorkie, he is quite a social little fur-man in spite of his past. Read on about this little guy. Abednego has a DOB of 05-30-99.
.
He made a brief stop by Doc for skin scrapings which were negative for parasites.
Doc recommends Rx shampoo, quality food, supplements.
A dental won't be needed when his neuter is done as he is already toothless.
More info. will be posted in the near future.
We will place this fur-kid in foster care once he has been fully vetted. His appointment has been made.
05-09 We will ask Doc about postponing the vet work on this little fur-man until he is more lively. He is not eating or drinking as much as we had hoped for. Thus, fluids given in small amounts every hour with pureed food made available at all times.
05-10 Abednego was sitting up this AM, pushing his food around with his nose as if to hide it for later.
His last syringe feeding was 10PM, then let him sleep quietly all night. A good night's sleep seems to have helped him a little bit.
05-12 Abednego rode along as the other fur-kids went for vetting this AM. He snuggled in his little fleece snuggle sack, then became alert enough to look out the window, enjoy the view.
Doc checked him over, yet does not advise any vet work at this time. He needs to gain more strength & weight.
Doc sent along a special canned food. After putting a bit in his mouth he ate a small portion, then wandered about the house.
He continues to get small doses of Pedialyte via a syringe throughout the day. Then he sleeps quietly all night.

The foster updates on his/her likes & dislikes will help you know if this fur-kid is suitable for your home.
The foster has a very important job, evaluating, loving, letting go to make room for another fur-kid at risk.
Three little fur-men arrived. We had already decided that the next 3 males would be named Shadrach, Meshack, Abednego after men in Scripture.

The adoption fee ranges from $150 to $300.
The fee is based upon veterinary care, age & size of dog.
The higher adoption fee on the younger small dogs helps care for the older dogs that take longer to find fur-ever homes.
Senior citizens and disabled receive a discount.
We also offer a discount to those in uniform keeping us safe.
Land of the free because of the brave.
Our adoption process begins with the e-mail or phone call to us. Please be prepared to furnish your complete name, address, telephone number, your veterinarian contact information & at least two personal references. We will then call you to ask a series of questions.
