My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

AVAILABLE 08-29-15 Pippy and Nerby originally came to the Shelter in March 2012 when they were just babies. They went to a foster home for a month until they were a bit older and stronger. In October 2012 they were lucky enough to be adopted by the same gentleman who loved and cared for them for almost three years. Unfortunately their owner lost his job and can no longer afford to care for them, so on 08-26-15 he had to bring Pippy and Nerby back to the Shelter. These ladies are so pretty with their shiny jet black fur. According to the information provided by the owner, they are a "bit iffy" around dogs, but are good with children of all ages. Both are spayed, micro chipped and their shots are up to date. He described them as active, playful, curious kitties. We took Pippy to an adoption event and she talked to everyone who walked by. Guess she was telling them to take her home. Either Pippy or Nerby or even both would make great feline family members. Please come to the Shelter in Elizabeth City and meet these pretty ladies.
