Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Snowshoe is a very friendly polydactyl calico cat who has an uncommon auto-immune issue which causes her to have an inflammatory response to her own skin. She is responding well to treatment, but may need medication daily long-term. Currently, the medication she is on costs about $25/month if purchased in a 5 month supply. We hope to be able to wean her down or off of the medication now that her skin is cleared up, but it's likely she'll need at least a low dose of medication daily long-term.
Snowshoe is adapting well to her foster home; she gets along well with one of the other cats, but is still guarded and nervous about the second even after being in the home for a month. She is very people-oriented and curious, but settles down and sleeps in the bed instead of pestering for attention after bed time. She gets along well with large dogs, and has gotten over her initial nervousness about the goat.
Snowshoe is spayed, vaccinated, and FIV and Leukemia negative. She was with both dogs and cats in her prior home, but has not been around children much.
