Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Joby is a very handsome young fella who turned up on a nice couple's porch with a broken leg and a dislocated hip. Nobody came to claim him from impound, so he was released to rescue. His broken right hind leg was amputated, and he was named after a camera tripod brand. Because this will alter his ability to run and jump, and therefore to avoid danger, Joby must go to an indoor-only home.
Joby is approximately 1 1/2 years old, neutered, has healed up from his surgery, and is getting around well on 3 legs. He is leukemia and FIV negative, and has had his first round of vaccines. All in all, he's ready to head out to a loving home.
Joby is generally calm and as you can see from the attached pictures is very focused on human attention - I tried to get a photo with his stump in it, but he would NOT turn away from the camera. He is all about the chin scratches, but doesn't particularly like to be picked up and carried around. He does not feel the same way about strange dogs as he does about new humans though; and will hiss at or try to hide from approaching pups. He would prefer a home without canine companions.
Please contact Jes at docjesadams@gmail.com or 509-690-7343 for more information about adopting Joby or to donate to his care.
