My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fluffy is a sweet, healthy, friendly, and beautiful 7 year old female Aktia, whose owner entered a substance abuse program in January 2013. In mid July, the owner contacted the boarding facility and said he could not longer afford to board her, and told them that if they could not find her a home for her in one week, they were to euthanize  her. On July 24, the boarding facility contacted Akita Angels for help, and we immediately mobilized.  We helped secure the necessary owner-relinquishment forms for Fluffy, and reached an agreement with the facility to have her expenses covered, while keeping her safe, while we attempted to locate a suitable home for her.

Fluffy is safe, but deserves more than living the rest of her life in a kennel. She is well cared for and safe, but wants and deserves nothing less than a family of her own.
