My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cloud is a show-stopping, STUNNING white male Japanese Akita (JA). He is about four years old, neutered and up-to-date on all of his shots. He came into rescue after being dumped at the Lancaster/LA County shelter with two other, also stunning, pure-bred white female JAs. Both of those lovely ladies quickly found their forever homes, but we decided to give Cloud a bit more time to relax and be evaluated in a variety of situations. See, when Cloud first came in to foster, he was not used to being inside with people (sad, huh?), was anxious, and had separation anxiety. It has taken time and lots of love for Cloud to know that he is safe and loved and that his Humans will always return. Now, he actually ENJOYS being inside with people.

Although Cloud did not have house skills he is obedience trained. He walks very nicely on lead and can do basic obedience. Cloud has been to the groomer several times and loves the pampering and attention from everyone in the building who lays eyes on him. Cloud is OK with other dogs his size but does NOT like cats..
