Kuma Girl is a purebred, female Japanese Akita female born on Aug 30, 2011. She came from Grace Garden kennels in Japan and is registered with the JKC. Both parents are very pedigreed, her paperwork is written in Japanese and English, and they are also registered with JKC. She's microchipped, spayed, all vaccinations are up-to-date, and she's had regular checkups with vets (all records are available).

She has been an only pet. The family does not have any kids, but when she interacts with strangers in public (both kids and adults) she is initially very patient and lets them pet her, but if you don't limit the handling of her by strangers, she may become annoyed or overwhelmed and want to walk/move away.

She is well trained after having spent a significant amount of time with a private dog trainer while the family spent time in Japan. She also completed her "good manners" class and agility classes here in Southern California.
