Here's what the humans have to say about me:
OSCAR NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME! HE HAS BEEN WAITING FOR 6 1/2 YEARS!
Oscar is an approximately 7-year old pit bull mix who weighs around 70 lbs. Oscar was found abandoned in the country during the winter. He was found out in the cold, emaciated, lugging a huge chain around his neck. He is now healthy and ready for his forever home.
Oscar loves to play with toys and he loves people! He loves going on walks and getting to say hi to everyone he passes. Oscar is also big into cuddling! He’d do well with older kids but not as well with small children since he's large and we wouldn't want him to knock them down accidentally.
Oscar would like a home where he has an active family to occupy him and a backyard with a stockade fence. He is such a sweet boy who just needs someone to give him a chance at a life with love and a family. He would do best as the only dog in the home.
Oscar needs a home with an individual or family who has had experience with large, strong dogs.
Oscar LOVES to go on car rides and rides well in a car! And especially if you are taking him for a Puppuccino! He is all about that!
Oscar is leash and crate-trained. He has probably never lived in a home before so most likely he will need assistance with house training although he does keep his kennel clean.
Oscar is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his shots. His adoption fee is $225.
If you would like to adopt Oscar and make him a part of your family, please apply at FYDRadopt.com
Oscar is in a boarding situation, so he is eligible to be a foster-to-adopt or foster dog!
