Ha-ROO! My name is Blue Aroo, and I’m 11 years YOUNG!! I’m a sweet
happy active Husky mix looking for a sweet happy active forever
family!

I was originally adopted as a young boy from the MaxFund in 1999. I
had a good long run with my former human, but she recently decided she
could no longer care for me. I’m sad about that, but I know MaxFund
won’t rest until I find a wonderful new forever home!

I'm accustomed to having an active lifestyle. I love activities like
hiking, camping, walking, and romping. Do you like snowy weather
activities? Great! True to my Husky roots, one of my most FAVORITE
things is to roll around in the snow! A home with a nice (and securely
fenced, at least 6-feet high) yard would be great for an active guy
like me.

Let’s see, what else do I love? Well, I really bond closely with
people, and just adore being with my beloved humans as much as
possible. Kids are fine, too, but I’d like them to be 8 years or
older. I like other dogs, and I’m usually okay with cats after I’ve
been introduced. Oh, and my motto is “All Treats Are Welcome.” So if
you’d like to give me a Milk Bone, I will accept it very graciously.

I am good at riding in the car and walking on a leash. Yes, I’m
potty-trained, too. I have great manners, and know LOTS of commands
(ask MaxFund for a complete list!). Not to toot my own horn too much,
but I am a very smart fella.

My dislikes? Well, like many other dogs, I dislike loud noises, like
thunder. Eek! That’s about it, I think.

As I said, I’m 11 years young. Like so many folks out there nowadays,
I’ve managed to keep myself fit, healthy, and active, and expect to
stay that way for a good long time! So don’t I sound like I’d be a
great companion for you? Yes? Well, hurry up and let’s go for a walk,
