This absolutely beautiful and very petite 35 lb little 3 year old lady is Bailey and she in search of a new home.
In foster in Westmoreland Co., PA.
She is a very typical SUPER lovable and sweet husky who likes to do husky things ....play rough, escape a poorly secured yard and she will chew things up and possibly eat them when she is stressed. Bailey needs daily (husky level) exercise, companionship is a must, dog and human (the more the merrier!) and she will need several weeks to acclimate to a new home. She does not do well with transition and will probably backslide for several weeks on housebreaking and crate training.
She is exceptional with children and other dogs ( she does play rough....like a husky). No cats for Bailey ....as she has developed a prey drive as she has gained more confidence and gotten more comfortable being her.
She needs containment near another dog when you leave and I'd like that to be no longer than 4 hours a day to start. She is doing excellent with the crate training and has remained stress free with the aforementioned accommodation. She has been able to transition to a gated sunroom also ( with a companion).
She loves being with dogs, kids and all people. She is absolutely not trustworthy off leash. She is a light eater and has no resource guarding at all. She is a bit hand shy, more so with men than women but responds to calm and patient handling very nicely. Excellent on leash. She needs a companion dog (male or female) and with a family experienced with separation anxiety and the husky breed. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on shots. She also has a lifetime license. 4dx test positive for anaplasmosis exposure which was treated proactively with Doxycycline. She is as adorable and loving as they come! Email for more information please. She is so deserving and worth the time it will take to help her thrive ❤
