Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sammy
Sammy is a sweet boy who didn't have much "home life".
He has been a back yard dog with 2 other dogs for the past few years.
Starving for love and attention, the owner didn't have time and actually
had plans to bring them to the pound to have them euthenized.
A WONDERFUL, CARING NEIGHBOR saved all three dogs and
has been fostering them, giving them all much needed family, while
our rescue got them groomed, micro-chipped and their shots, neutered and spayed.
The Foster family has girls that just loved on them too.
These dogs came out of their shell quickly after they saw another life, being able to
feel air on their skin, pets on the couch and being carried around and LOVED.
Sammy has shown the most improvement of all. He will play a little now,
where before he didn't know what a toy was, and he has learned to sit for a treat,
and will take his front paws and lift them up and down quickly
for his begging routine. He is precious.
Weighing in at 16 lbs. and grey curls, he is quite the looker.
Not sure what he is mixed with, but Poodle for sure..and he does have short legs..
(Thought maybe bichon mixed in?)
Sammy is 5 years old, going potty outside when taken out and
is also learning the doggy door now. (not 100%).
He enjoys giving kisses and laying with you on the couch..walks are new, but he
is doing it...and doing a great job at it!
Loves ALL people he has encountered, and all the foster dogs too.

Sammy's adoption fee is set at $260.00

Most everything we know about our dogs is in the bio..so please read it
so you know what the dog is like and if it will fit your life style.
Once an application is recieved, it will go in that dogs file for review.
IF you are chosen for Sammy, you will get a call for him and will have
3 hours to respond (if we get your answering machine)
before we go to the next person of interest.
