Meet MOZZI! This precious love is an approximate 6-8 year old, female, 40 lb, American Cattle Dog / Shepherd Mix (just a guess). Mozzi is absolutely lovely! Look at that face! She is sweet, sweet, sweet! And she has the most beautiful caramel coloring with soft fur! Mozzi is very well-mannered, she likes to play and run around a backyard, but she is not high-energy. She is super smart and knows "sit", "down" and "wait", and she looks at you with amazing focus (she STARES at you!) ready to learn more! Mozzi is easy on a leash and good with other dogs. She is very gentle and has a serene, soulful, melancholy about her while at the same time has a pure-hearted smile. She just wants to be near you and to be loved. Mozzi came to us from Kentucky after her owner died and his family dumped her at a high-kill facility where she was on death row. Even though she is a little older and there were younger dogs available, there was something about her smiling face that drew us to her. Mozzi is special and will make a wonderful companion. She would love to go on long walks or short walks, she would love to play tag in a backyard or watch the sunset on the beach, but her most favorite thing in the world would be to snuggle up on the couch next to her best friend. NOTE: We do NOT adopt out of state. Our range is no further than 40 miles North / Northwest from Chicago and 25 miles South from Chicago. This is because we PERSONALLY do home visits for every single dog / puppy. Exceptions ONLY in certain cases where a sweetie has issues (medical / behavioral / special needs) and we have had him / her for a longer time. We will then travel to the Moon for a Forever Family!
