Here's what the humans have to say about me:
GIRLIE
Sweet little tri-colored Girlie, a stray girl who is tiny and weighs approx 6 lbs.
and appears to be quite young, (under 1 years old), never
had her family come forward to claim her. She was lucky to have a place to
call home in the ladies house that found her for a few days, but she
wasn't in the position to keep her...so she called us to see if we could help.
She has the prettiest coloring. Jet black everywhere, except for her
white chest and brindle stockings on her legs.
While in the foster home we have asked the foster to write her bio, and
let us know how things are going.
Straight from the fosters mouth:
"I am fostering a precious Chihuahua puppy that I've been calling my little "Girlie".
She only took a couple of days to become comfortable in my home.
She is eating well. She quickly bonded with me and is already loyal and protective.
She loves to sit in my lap and chew on bones or chew sticks.
I have a 30 pound dog in my home who loves to play all the time.
Girlie only enjoys this play for short periods and then runs to my lap.
Everyday they play better together so I think she would be ok with other small dogs, but would
she would probably be most relaxed and happiest as an only dog.
She does bark at load noises and new dogs we meet on walks,
but it's just a little Chihuahua bark.
(She isn't yippy in the home).
She does seem to enjoy going for walks with me and my other dog and does well on the leash.
She is not potty trained or doggy door trained but I have been working with
her on potty pads and going potty while we are walking.
She sleeps in her crate and seems fine with that.
I have not seen her interact with cats, kids or men but she seems
very friendly so I think she would be ok.
She loves to cuddle!!
She will be spay on 1/15/19 and will need to heal before she will go to her
forever home. All shots and microchip will be current at time of adoption.
Girlies adoption fee is set at $230.00

so you know what the dog is like and if it will fit your life style.
Once an application is recieved, it will go in that dogs file for review.
IF you are chosen for Girlie, you will get a call for her and have
3 hours to respond (if we get your answering machine)
before we go to the next person of interest.
The ONLY way to be considered is with an application which is on our website:
