Hi everyone, my name is Mika and I am ready to weeble-wobble my way into your heart! I’m a young girl, maybe 1-2 years old, and although I’m clumsy and uncoordinated, I get around pretty well! I was found as a stray in NC, and when the nice people at the shelter realized I needed more care than they could offer, I took a ride up north and became a Ruff Lifer. My new Foster Mom took me to get an MRI, and it turns out my cerebellum isn’t as big as everyone else’s. Since that’s the brain part that controls movement, it makes me a little uncoordinated and awkward. Fortunately, everyone I’ve ever met thinks it’s super cute and I’m not in any pain! For me, being clumsy and taking a tumble now and then is perfectly normal.

I love all other dogs and cats, too, but because I love to play, I should probably live with a cat that is comfortable with dogs. My favorite things include meeting other dogs, chew toys, naps in my crate, naps with Foster Mom, snacks, and running around outside (sometimes I trip and fall but I’m ok with that). I’m looking for a family that understands I’m a little different but is still willing to let me do all the stuff dogs like to do, just with a little more supervision.

I am UTD on shots, microchipped, spayed, house-trained, crate-trained, and I am ready to steal your heart!
