My story

LEROY IS NOW UP FOR ADOPTION! WOOHOO ♥️

Leroy loves to play with toys, but is also happy to snuggle up next to you on the couch. He loves to go for car rides and likes to go for walks! He also loves to have his ears rubbed, which is good because who could resist them!

Leroy is a senior and but still has a lot of spunk and michief left! His foster mom says he likes to steal their shoes and put them all in a pile! He also thinks that he has a great singing voice and likes to serenade his people!

Leroy was found in June 2018 unresponsive and near death. People just passed him by, thinking he was dead. We were alerted and he has been under advanced Veterinary care ever since.

Initially, Leroy needed transfusions and he was very emaciated. He also had Babesiosis, a tick borne disease and a splenic mass. After months and months of treatment, he is clear of Babesiosis, and his spleen was removed and the mass was benign!

So this big,sweet boy is looking for his forever home. We would prefer a home without small children, just due to his size and excitement, now that he feels good!
