Mainly because we all work, it isn't always easy for us to get back to you timely,
so you can often miss out if your application is not in when we review them..
Your application stays with us for 90 days, so if you miss out on this one..

Buddy is a owner surrender. (Well, kind of). His owner is elderly and could not care for him
any longer and was planning to take him to the County shelter, when the neighbor fell in love with him.
She took him and soon realized that her life style wasn't
ready for a dog either. W.O.W heard that she was looking to place
him, so we took him in. The poor guy is being passed around,
but being loved, which is more than he would have had in the county shelter.
Now he is in a foster home, living the life he should...lots of love and enjoys the
old fashion belly rubs and being the pampered pooch.
The foster believes he is younger than we were told, because he doesn't "act" like
a senior, and is playful and super sweet!
She doesn't have a doggy door so not sure how he would be if he had one,
so she takes him out quite regularly and doen't have any issues with him.
Loves going for walks and car rides too.
Doesn't seem worried when he gets around other dogs, and pretty
much minds his own business. NOT a barker, and enjoys
night-time with the foster...in her bed.He is a tad over weight and could
stand to loose a few pounds, and weighs approx 18 lbs but other than that he is healthy and ready for
a forever home where he can comfort someone who needs a friend.
Not sure about cats, but he really shows no interest in other dogs, so
most likely wouldn't bother a cat.
He has gorgeous hair and will require regular grooming. We think he
would be fine with kids 8+, just not toddlers that would pull his hair
and irritate him in any way.
This handsome boy is current on his immunization shots, neutered,
Bordetella, Rabies shot, and microchipped.
Buddys adoption fee is set at $175.00.
IF you are a Senior though, he qualifies for our
Senior to senior program, (plus anything the rescue has in to
him medically, but not to exceed the regular adoption fee).

We cannot call everyone to let you know that you were
not chosen for Buddy, but you can follow him on our website to see, or you can call us.
