My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jaden is almost 2 years old and weighs about 45 lbs. He was found roaming in TX. He came into the shelter terrified and HW positive. Right there he had two strikes against him, add to that he is a black dog was almost definitely a death sentence. Our rescue partners in TX saw something special in this guy and took a chance on him. Boy did they nail it! He was treated for HW. With the help of amazing volunteers and fosters he really came out of his shell and made an amazing transformation. He went camping, lived with cats, and was shown the love a dog deserves. He is now happy, healthy, friendly, goofy and just an all-around sweet dog. He likes to do zoomies in the back yard and play with his toys. He is very calm in the house and likes nothing more than to snuggle with you on the couch. Jaden’s story did not start off the greatest, but he is well on his way to having a happy ending. Could you be that final chapter? Jaden would probably be happier in a "quieter" home -He still may be a little shy at first but will warm up quickly, he has come a long way but occasionally quick movements and loud noises may still startle him a little. Don't let that deter you - he is just a sweetheart of a dog! - Jaden is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, house and crate trained. His adoption fee is $475.
