My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Cali is a mixed breed dog who was found abandoned as a puppy in a warehouse in Detroit. Her birthday is April 11, 2018. We adopted her back in February. She is such a sweet girl and she is AMAZING with my kids (6 year old and 2 1/2 year old twins). She is also great with other dogs, and is submissive around dominant dogs. She doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body. We didn’t know how she would do with cats and unfortunately she loves them a little too much, she wants to lick them to death and they do not feel the same way! We’ve had to confine the cats which hasn’t been very fair to them. We have tried everything to desensitize her to them and it’s just not working out. We love her and want to find a family who doesn’t have cats, and maybe who has another dog - she’s happy enough without one but she LOVES having a buddy around to play with. She’s house-trained and has had very, very few accidents in the house. Meet Cali today, you will fall in love with her :)
