My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What a way to start life!  Zepplin and his litter mates were found when only a week old, and were bottled raised by rescue volunteers.  Loved right from their very first days!

Zepplin is 4 months old and is approximately 12 lbs. He is a Lab mix and we are estimating that he will become a medium-size dog. At 4 months old, sweet little Zepplin is learning about the world around him. Since he was hand-raised, he adores people and well-behaved children, and is happy to play with other dogs and even cats.

Like all dogs his age, he will thrive in a home where lots of attention can be given to him to help him become an amazing lifelong companion. The perfect owner(s) will have the time, patience, and energy to help guide him through lots of exercise, socialization, and positive reinforcement.

He is making great progress with his crate, house and leash training. A typical 4-month=old puppy who is on a proper house training program and getting appropriate exercise and attention, should be able to be crated for about 5 hours. A young pup will need a potty break after eating, sleeping, and playing- with a few extra breaks in between. As they begin their leash training it’s important to note that a puppy’s growth plate doesn’t close until 12 months old on average, so a half hour stroll for a pup this age is a good amount of exercise. So, for all those runners out there, you can plan those mile long runs for later.

Zepplin’s fee for adoption is $450. This includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, and transport/rescue fees.
