Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meow! I'm Mr. Cuddles, a loving, snugly, playful, energetic red tabby "tuxedo" domestic medium haired fella who was born in March 2020. In bed, I love to sleep curled up against my foster meowmy's back, and while she's on the sofa, I love to lay on her lap while she strokes my soft fur, which feels like cotton candy. She loves to pick me up and kiss me all over my cheeks. Bluuuck! But secretly I kinda like it!
Foster Meowmy knows the way to my heart is through my stomach via chicken-flavored Delectable Squeeze Ups! As soon as I hear the seal's being torn, I'm in her lap and using my paws to hold it to my mouth. Slurp!
I love to play with fishing-pole toys or the tails of foster meowmy's other cats! I can spend hours chasing the ball in the Tower of Tracks. Foster Meowmy is amazed that a $2 Cat Dancer made of spring steel wire and rolled cardboard could mesmerize me so completely! In my quieter moments, I while away the days by laying on my scratching tree and watching kitty TV (the birds as well as squirrels just outside the window).
My four siblings and I were born under my foster meowmy's porch. She discovered us at 7 weeks old when a neighbor's dog chased me across the yard. I was so scared that my hairs all stood up on end. I postured like a Halloween cat and hissed really loudly, and that big hound dog flopped on his back in submission! He was all bark and no bite.
Understandably, it took me a little extra time to decompress and trust my human meowmy after all that drama! She named me Mr. Cuddles, trusting that I'd come around. Sure enough, I finally warmed up and now live up to my name!
After my encounter with that neighbor's dog, I was a 'fraidy-cat with the small resident dog in my foster home. However, I've gotten over my wariness and now sleep contentedly next to my tiny Pom sister. Foster Meowmy says I'd do best in a home with very calm, stable dogs of any size or with young, playful cats. I've never lived with kids but would probably do great with those who can play respectfully and gently.
If I sound like your teacup of fluff, please arrange to meet me today. If you adopt me, I'll reward you with a lifetime of entertainment and love.
Mr. Cuddles is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. His adoption fee is $125 for kittens 9 months old and younger, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Mr. Cuddles, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet him.
To adopt one of our cats, you must fill out our adoption application and be approved by one of our adoption counselors. To make the process more efficient, submit the online cat adoption application at https://www.bustersfriends.org/cat-adoption-application.
