My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mapgie, a 2 months old, approximately12 lbs, Catahaula Leopard dog! Magpie's mom is a 40 lbs Blue tick coonhound/Catahoula mix; dad is unknown. She is an amazing and sweet puppy with an easy disposition and a ton of energy. Magpie is an explorer and loves to use her nose to find treasures. She is intelligent making her a quick learner and is great with children. Magpie, although curious, likes to stay near her people. And even though she is laid back and does not like to be alone, she is independent and has a strong personality. Crate training is going well in her foster home. House training is a work in progress. We highly recommend an active family that has experience with the breed. A fenced yard is REQUIRED. Applications are available at ruffredemption.org.
