My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shelby is a sweet, loving dog. She is great with kids! But is not a fan of other dogs or cats. We adopted her as a companion for our other dog but it was not a good fit. She is a bit too playful and he just wants to chill. She would do best in a home without other dogs or cats where she can soak up all the attention and love for herself! She walks on a leash but does pull a bit - we've been working with her but she hasn't quite gotten the hang of it yet. We think she is approximately 4 years old and weighs about 80 lbs. Shelby thinks she is a petite lap dog and doesn't realize her own size so she can be a little clumsy on her big bear paws :) Shelby will be the most loving companion you could ask for. She is a perfect guard dog and is protective of her home and her people. She will bark at people coming into her home to let them know she is there. Shelby is comfortable indoors and outdoors. She is perfectly happy chewing on a bone while laying in the sun or curled up at your feet.
