(Nashville, TN) Freckles needs your help with finding his perfect forever home 💙 He’s been through so much and is now ready for his own family.
History: Freckles was hit by a car and had a broken spine and was found in someone’s yard unable to move. He was hours away from being euthanized. We couldn’t let that happen! He had surgery and was on crate rest for over 2 months to allow him to heal. He is ready to be a puppy now! Per his vet and surgeon there will be no long term issues.
Freckles is 6-8 months old. He is a typical puppy, which includes being energetic, clumsy and falling over his own feet. There are no lack of laughs with this boy.
He loves life, walks, play time with other dogs, toys, car rides and zoomies. He is doing excellent on his leash training and he is 100% crate trained; however, he will bark until he settles. He’s 99% potty trained; this has been a work in progress.
He listens very well. He knows sit and we are working on other commands, such as “leave it”. This is an important command as he wants to take house items through the doggie door and put them in the yard.
He does nip when he plays out of excitement, so he doesn’t need to be in a home with small children (Ages 10+)

He will need a home that has someone there more often than not as he is about tired of the crate! He loves to be involved too, so a family that will include him in their activities.
