My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lola was most likely abandoned in a subdivision, as she stayed in one place running from people trying to feed her. Once she felt she could trust us she gave her all. That says a lot about her personality. Lola has been a wonderful houseguest, getting on well with all the other dogs. Lola would be perfect in a one dog home. She enjoys playing with her person more than other dogs; but enjoys a good game of tug if she can coerce a friend to play. Lola loves frisbee. She has mastered the dog door and is very reliable indoors. No accidents and no destruction other than squeaky toys. We are working on walking skills, obedience and leave it when she sees the squirrels in the neighborhood. She has responded well to general corrections. Lola is very loving but not a band-aid dog. She was underweight but has filled out and put on a nice shiny coat. She is HW-, vaccinated and spayed. Lola would be a great dog for kids as she does not jump and is a small girl but likes to play. If you would like to meet this girl please contact nod2016dog@gmail.com.

The pet is already home at this point and we hope in a long and loving relationship with your family.

Additional adoption info

I am not into rescue to have the largest turnaround of dogs. I am into rescue to take a battered and dejected dog off the streets. To get it healthy and confident in order to make a loving and permanent placement. A human-dog love connection!

More about this rescue

I am an animal lover but specifically a dog lover. I have picked up stray dogs for many years so forming a rescue was inevitable. No One's Dog Rescue is devoted to saving street dogs, one dog at a time. This includes good nutrition for vital health and training for an amendable dog. Part of my mission is to connect the right dog with the right person so there is much discussion with adopter on specific wants vs needs. I also advocate and support raw feeding and natural rearing protocols. As a nutritionist myself I know first hand the power of good food irregardless of species. I rescue because the need is so great and hope to set an example of compassion and responsibility by my actions.
