My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sir Rupert is a 10lb mini dachshund. He was an addition to our family in February. I had hoped he would be a companion to my older mini. We have given many months for them to bind and they simply have not. My older mini simply does not do well with him. We have to separate them often and he is miserable. All is of no fault of Sir Rupert. He is young and wants to play. He wants to cuddle and be close to his friend. My older dog just does not feel the same. I have tried everything. I didn’t want to re-home him, but he deserves a family (furry and/or furless!) who wants to be on his level of affection. He is partially potty trained. If he is taken out VERY often he has fewer accidents, but he is crate trained since we work. If you have, or have had, a dachshund you know the potty training can take time.
