My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chas was born here 10 years ago. He was "green broken" three years ago but has not been ridden since. He is easy to catch and stands well for the farrier. Very gentle and tame. He is VERY sound but just needs some personal attention and training. He leads well. There is no cost to adopt any of our animals, however, we are a 501c3 non-profit and love donations! Our adoption contract require that if the animal does NOT work out in the new home that the adopted animal MUST be return to Collar to Halter. The animal may not be given away, sold or taken to another shelter. The first step in our adoption process is for a potential adopter to provide the name and phone number of their current vet.
