Meet Spot – A Hidden Gem Waiting to Shine! 🐾

Spot is a lovable, quirky girl who just needs a little time and patience to show you her true colors. Surrendered through no fault of her own, Spot is looking for a fresh start with someone who will appreciate her gentle spirit and goofy charm. While she may be a bit reserved at first, those who take the time to get to know her are rewarded with a loyal, silly, and sweet companion.

Spot is friendly toward everyone she meets, but she doesn’t put all her cards on the table right away. Give her time, and show her consistency and love, and you’ll start to see her silly side shine through. She loves going for walks, especially when the pace is leisurely, and she’s a pro-level couch buddy—especially if there’s a cozy blanket involved!

Speaking of blankets, Spot has a special talent for interior decorating—she takes great pride in rearranging her bed and blankets to her liking. She’s also a total water baby! The second she sees water, it’s like she’s a puppy all over again—splashing, rolling, jumping, zooming, and repeating the fun all over again. Her joy is truly contagious.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and even bigger personality (once she trusts you), Spot might just be the perfect pup for you. Come meet her—you might be the one to help her shine.

Good with Dogs: Yes, with proper introduction. She can come on strong at first, but is learning how to properly greet dogs.
Good with Kids: Yes
Good with Cats: Unknown
Good with chickens/livestock: Unknown
Energy Level: Low
Training Needed: Basic commands. Does not seem to know her name- could easily learn a new one!
Kennel Behavior: Relaxed, calm. Always happy to greet people and will dance for treats
Housetrained: Previously housetrained. Has been at the shelter for a while, so she will likely need some patience and a refresher as she adjusts to living in a home again
