Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Seymour is a 1.5-year-old, 48-pound bundle of energy and affection who is eager to find his forever home. As a friendly and treat-motivated dog, he`s a quick learner and would make the perfect exercise companion, whether it`s walking through parks or enjoying outdoor adventures. While he`s strong on the leash, Seymour is easy to redirect and is generally well-behaved around other dogs, though he would do best as an only pet or with a slow, careful introduction to another dog. Seymour is a loving, protective boy who thrives on attention and affection, often nudging his humans for more pets when he`s not ready for a cuddle session to end. He loves car rides, leisurely strolls, and even patiently waits for food at restaurants, always taking treats gently. However, he is a bit protective when it comes to joggers, and a home with no small children would suit him best. Seymour is ready to be your best friend, whether you`re looking for an adventurous buddy or a loyal cuddle partner at night!
Adoptions are free and include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving with you. To view our current available animals, please visit: https://indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet.
