Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet this beautiful ray of sunshine, Emma! She is here at the SPCA looking for her next furever home and she will be the most goofy, lovable, and sweetest girl you could possibly ask for. She originated in Florida and is used to soaking up that sun daily! Some of her favorite things are sunbathing, Blankets ( she likes to snuggle in them), stuffed animal toys, going for walks and runs and playing catch. Emma is good with children ages 6+ years old. She does not do well with cats and needs to go to a home with out them. Emma can be choosy with her dog pals so we would recommend she go to a home with no other dogs, or something where there is constant supervision. We strongly encourage a meet and greet with all children and other dogs in the home, to make sure they get along. She was housebroken and crate trained when she came into the shelter, but may need a refresher due to being in a shelter setting. Emma does know some basic commands, such as sit, come, lay and paw. She would greatly benefit from consistent and ongoing training to keep her being the best girl she can be. If you would like to meet Emma, please stop by SPCA Cincinnati to visit her and all our other adoptable pets.
