Dogs: Rena spent time at a rescue kennel in KY before her transport here. At the kennel, she played with many dogs. She loves to wrestle and immediately wants to play with others.
Cats: No cats

Rena is an exuberant, happy pup.

She loves to romp around our play yard with a tennis ball, soak up attention from the volunteers, and play with her best dog friend.

She is active so she would love to be someone’s forever adventure buddy.

Rena is affectionate, cuddly & silly. Her energy level is probably a bit too much for small children, but she would likely be a fun pal for teenagers.

Rena is quiet in her crate.

We do not adopt on a first-come-first-serve basis, but rather by the best match between dog and family, although we will factor in the order of applications if there are equally good matches.

Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $450 which covers the costs of vetting (spay, vaccinations, heartworm testing, preventatives while in our care, deworming and microchip) and any boarding or transport fees incurred in each dog's rescue. Senior dogs are $250.
