Willow is a beautifully dignified dog with a heart of gold. She is a friendly and affectionate dog who loves nothing more than receiving kisses and cuddles. Willow is an independent spirit with a quiet and gentle demeanor. While she is a brave dog, she is not good with other dogs and would do best in a home where she is the only pet. Willow loves to play, but she is also a bit of a couch potato and enjoys nothing more than a lazy afternoon snuggled up on the couch. She is a smart and loyal dog who will stick by your side through thick and thin. Willow is looking for a forever home where she can be loved and appreciated for the sweet and loyal dog that she is. We always start with a meet and greet. if you are adopting a dog and already have a pup at home you will need to bring them to meet as well!

Adopted animals have been spayed/neutered plus, vaccinated, heartworm/combo tested, and microchipped.

Our Shelter is located off Hwy. 9 South of Downtown Dawsonville. We are in a bright sunshine yellow building at the back of Rock Creel Park.
Our hours for adoptions are Tuesday-Friday 11:00 am-4:30pm and Saturday 12:00pm-4:30pm and Sunday 1:00pm-4:30pm.
Please call to make an appointment.
We hold adoption events Saturdays/Sundays at Pet Smart in Cumming ,Georgia from 11:00 am -3:30pm.
We will be hosting special adoption events throughout the year

More about this shelter

We are a group of dedicated volunteers that worked for 6 years to raise enough money to build an animal shelter in a County in Georgia that did not have one. We are a 501c3 Non-profit organization. We operate primarily on donations and gifts.
We believe EVERY animal deserves a home. We do everything possible to make certain they have a second chance at a happy life with a family that will love and care for them.
The greatest reward for us is a happy ending, a smiling cat or dog that has found love and companionship and brought a ray of sunshine into a home.
