My story

Hi, My name is Wichita and I am a big puppy at heart! I had a rough start in life but have come such a long way from my beginnings and learned how to become a real dog! When I first came to the shelter, I was very shy but while in foster I have bloomed and my true personality has shined through! I can still be a little nervous of new people and places but reassuring pets from people I know and yummy treats help me trust quickly. The fastest way to become my friend? TOYS! I love, love, love plush toys and playing is LIFE! I have been known to leap for joy when I get a toy in my mouth. I also love to feel the wind in my ears while doing zoomies around the back yard, so while a fence is not required, a nice fenced in yard where I can do zoomies to my heart's content would be a huge bonus! I can often be found rolling around on my back with plush toys while in the house and I am also a good boy and am potty trained. So you get all the fun and entertainment of a puppy without the work of potty training!
I can be picky about my dog friends so a meet and greet for any potential canine siblings would be needed - it's probably because in my early life I lived with so many other dogs and had to compete for necessities.
