The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat!
UTA and her sister SADI were at a rescue is San Bernardino, California, Unfortunately, the owners of the rescue passed away due to COVID. We were asked to help and we rescued these 2 ladies.
Meet UTA, a sassy yet sweet Siamese Diluted Calico mix from San Bernardino, California who’s a delightful mix of feisty playfulness and undeniable charm. Her unique coat is a masterpiece of soft creams, greys, and muted orange hues, perfectly complementing her striking blue eyes that always seem to be scheming her next move—or her next cuddle.
UTA is a queen in every sense of the word, and she knows it! This talkative little diva is a great conversationalist who will always greet you with her chirps and meows, letting you know exactly what’s on her mind. She’s playful and spunky, bringing plenty of entertainment into your home with her unpredictable antics. One moment, she’ll be zooming around chasing her favorite toy; the next, she’ll settle into full couch-potato mode, soaking up your affection like royalty.
When it comes to cuddles, UTA is a total lovebug. She adores pets and head scratches, happily curling up next to you for some quality bonding time. And yes, she’ll even let you pick her up, although we both know it’s on her terms (as any self-respecting queen would insist). But, she will let you know when she's had enough pets and cuddles.
UTA is all about that solo-cat lifestyle. While she tolerates other cats if necessary, she’s much happier ruling the roost as the only feline in her castle. After all, why share the limelight when she can be the star of the show?

UTA is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / SIAMESE-DILUTED CACLICO MIX. She is about 5 years 2 months old. She is ok with cats. She has never been around children or dogs. She will probably do best as an only cat. She needs to be the queen of her house.

1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com. Click on ADOPT.
2. Complete Application under line 1.
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

JANUARY 2025: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.
Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 4 pm - 7 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays.

The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.
