My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gusto, a sweet goofdog who thinks he’s a lap dog.

Gusto has been with his foster family for over two years and would really like to find his forever home now. Boasting a varied repertoire of fun qualities that some may refer to as endearing quirks, this charming canine is sure to conquer your heart if given the chance.

Highlights about Gusto:

While in foster care, he has revealed himself to be a bit of a social butterfly, being friendly toward big and little dogs alike.

Gusto enjoys embracing his inner vocalist and likes to inform his foster mom of noteworthy noises outside… whether she wants to know about them or not.

He is an athlete at heart and would love to accompany his human on walks or maybe even fill the role of jogging buddy. Note: Energetic as he is, Gusto can jump even a 6-foot fence. So he’s looking for an adopter who won't let him turn into an escape artist.

Gusto is crate- and house-trained.

If you think you can give Gusto his pawfect home, fill out the adoption questionnaire and set up a meet-and-greet with him.

Additional adoption info

We endeavor to find the best home for each pet in our care. We do home visits on every pet, even if it can only be a virtual visit with pictures and videos from the potential adopter. Most of the time we adopt to people who live close enough for a personal home visit.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We do not have a facility; so meet and greets with potential adopters, pets and current pets are done on an appointment bases; sometimes at the potential adopter's home, or in a neutral location.
