Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tulip is seriously the sweetest girl. She is so affectionate and loving. Although her face may seem somewhat like a Pit Bull, her body shape does not match that breed guess, so we really do not know what mix she may be. Whatever she is, she is going to make a wonderful addition to the family that gives her a home.
Tulip was adopted more than a year ago, but through no fault of her own came back recently due to major life changes in the family. Because she lived with a family quite a while, they were able to give us great information about her. They told us she is housebroken, sleeps all night comfortably in her crate, and has had some leash training. She enjoys her walks and will take as many walks with you as you'd like to. She is starting to play with squeaky toys, alerts them when someone pulls into the driveway or knocks on the door. She is great with everyone in the family. She prefers to have some company, so a work from home family or maybe another canine companion would make her happiest. Her favorite things are belly rubs, a comfy bed and being inside with her people!
Since Tulip came back, she has been in a doggy daycare/boarding facility waiting for the rescue to have room for her in a foster home. She is doing amazingly well there -- she goes out for doggy daycare daily and does great with all different dogs. She's great with all the different employees she interacts with as well. Oh -- and did we mention that she's beautiful?
