Meet Kash, a sweet and sensitive soul looking for a patient and loving forever home. Kash is 2 years old and has had a rough start as a puppy. He was found in the streets at 3 months old starving and covered with mange. His start to life has left him with some anxiety ( mostly separation anxiety). He is looking for a family that understands his need for slow introductions with new dogs, provides structure, and reassurance.
Though Kash can be nervous at times, especially in new or loud situations, he is incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle once he feels comfortable. Kash loves kids! With patience, consistency, and a little time, he opens up to become a loyal and loving companion. He may need a home with someone experienced in dealing with anxiety in pets, where he can continue to build his confidence at his own pace.
Kash is working hard on his confidence and would do best in a home with no other alpha dogs. He currently lives with a calm, understanding dog sibling that is 80lbs, and they love each other very much. He’s house trained, walks well on a leash, but can pull at times. Kash is very obedient and well-mannered. He loves to sleep in bed with you, he even likes to sleep under the blankets and be the little spoon in bed, but if you prefer, he will sleep in his dog bed with his blanket covering him.
If you think you could offer Kash the safe and loving home he deserves, he’d be forever grateful to have you as his family.

More about this rescue
The mission of One Love Animal Rescue, Inc. is to help abandoned, neglected, abused and unwanted pets by partnering with shelters, rescue groups and the community to facilitate adoption of these animals into permanent and loving homes.
Our goal is to save one life at a time by promoting local animal shelter adoptions and raising awareness in our community about responsible pet ownership. We strive to highlight the importance of spaying or neutering pets which will aid in the reduction of overpopulation. We believe that appropriate and positive reinforcement training and socialization of these shelter animals will lead to well-adjusted family pets, thereby decreasing the number of abandoned animals in shelters. Our dream is that one day all the shelters will be empty because every pet will have a home.
One Love Animal Rescue, Inc. is a volunteer based organization located in Savannah, Georgia. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit and all donations directly benefit the animals entrusted in our care.
