Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adopter needs to be within 1 hour drive of DE 19703, Thank You. If interested please email rescue and request an application AOLanimalrescue@gmail.com. This is Henry, a long haired Guinea pig. We estimate him to be under 2 years old. We tried to introduce another male so he wouldn’t be living by himself, but we think he likes being solo. He’s a friendly guy that comes to you for treats. He enjoys being held but plays hard to get while catching him. He’s a squealer when he hears 2 rooms away a package being opened, he thinks everything should be for him. He’s a good eater of his hay and leafy veggies which the vet tells us are the 2 most important things for them to eat. Timothy Hay 24/7. Guinea Pigs need approved thing to gnaw lon to keep their teeth in check, and only about 1/4 cup of pellets a day. Their cage needs to be changed regularly and they should let out of their cage daily, either a play pen or a child’s plastic swimming pool with a towel or 2 down. Guinea Pigs are sweet pets that are awake during the day and snooze at night. Their life span is about 6 -/+ years. They do not need vaccinations but have some funds put aside incase you’re concerned about your piggie and need to see a vet. GPs are considered exotic pets so an office visit can cost more than a dog or cat and not all vets will see guinea pigs. Get your ducks in a row before bringing a family member home. Guinea Pigs want to be part of the family. They are usually very social animals. Henry is anyways. Of course he’ll be nervous and jumpy until he settles in and gets used to the new noises but a set up in the family room is ideal so they will be around people. 302-272-5655 or email us
