Hi! My name is Tinker. I’m a spayed female red merle Catahoula Hound mix, approximately 3 years young, living in a foster home. I`m a smart, inquisitive, sensitive pup, likely a former country girl, ready for any adventure. I’m learning about suburban life and have improved socialization skills through repetition and manners classes. I self-entertain with chew and squeak toys and don’t need to be crated if you are gone a while. Walking, sniffing, searching for bugs and chase are favorite activities, followed by a cool down in a kiddie pool. I would love a yard. I`m looking for a kind, loving, preferably active, owner who will provide a little structure and reinforce my skills. I am learning to moderate my enthusiasm when meeting people and a gradual introduction to other dogs would be needed. I still see cats as an opportunity to play chase. With time, lots of love and the right guidance, I`ll be your most loyal companion. I aim to please and generally respond to voice redirection. Treats are acceptable. If you will share your time and love, I will be the perfect canine companion. My bond with you will last a lifetime. Be my hero. I can`t wait to meet you and start our adventures together!
