Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brownie is quiet, calm, and lovable is how her foster mom describes her. Even though she has her puppy excitement she is fairly calm for her age. Her sister can get her a bit riled up as siblings can but she is more relaxed when her sister isn't in sight and would make a great couch potato once she settles in. She's very loyal and wants to be anywhere her humans are. All around an amazing girl for a family who wants an easy puppy to join their family.
She is highly treat-motivated but needs to be allowed to think things through when learning new behaviors. She's a smart girl who needs a little extra motivation to guide her in the right direction. Some tasty treats will do just that!
Brownie has the 'squirl!' type of attention span but will do the job just at her own pace. She seems to learn a lot from her sister, Cookie, and will similarly pick up on things from watching other dogs in the home. She gets a bit distracted when eating or just lying in the yard, but she follows her sisters or family members’ every move. Her definition of playing fetch is if another dog chases the ball; she will gladly help them bring the toy back instead of fetching it herself.
She has been good about ignoring the chicken coop at her foster home. She is also good with cats, kids, and other dogs.
Brownie has had ZERO accidents in the crate, car, and in the house. She is very quiet in her kennel at night. She doesn't chew up her toys or bedding. It is safe to say this girl is fully kennel trained.
Brownie is a 3 and half month old (by June 22) German shepherd/Siberian husky mix as far as we know. Her sister is Cookie.
