My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rudy came into the shelter at approx 6wks and was buddied up immediately with his foster brother Rocket.
On July 21, Rudy was placed in a foster home with Rocket, foster brother Yodi and a Rottweiler.

Rudy knows his name & comes running for his dinner. He has been the little guy and has made his place with the big boys!
He is very playful and enjoys snuggling under your arm and taking naps on your chest.
His favorite toys are balls of paper and trying to catch whatever you have dangling in front of him.
He loves his foster brothers and would be happiest if he could be adopted with at least one of them.

Rudy's favorite place to hide is in drawers of furniture with his brothers.

He could do well in a home with older children & even possibly with a large calm dog.

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

Tuesday - Saturday:10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
