My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Just look at that sweet, happy face and those perky ears! Jasper is as charming as he is handsome, with his unique coat and sparkling personality. He’s been waiting far too long—years—in boarding for his chance to find a loving home, and we can’t wait for him to finally experience the love and comfort he truly deserves.

Jasper is the ultimate fetch enthusiast! He lives for the thrill of the chase and will happily bring the ball back, ready for endless rounds of fun. But he’s not just about play—this smart boy is also incredibly affectionate and loves to give hugs. Imagine having this happy, smiling boy greeting you every day!

With his stunning mix of Nordic Spitz and Carolina Dog, Jasper isn’t just a pretty face—he’s also super smart and eager to please. At about 2–3 years old, he’s in his prime, ready to learn new tricks and explore life with his forever family.

Jasper rides great in the car, plays well with other dogs, and thrives on adventure and activity. Whether you’re looking for a hiking buddy, a fetch partner, or just a loyal best friend to share your days, Jasper is the perfect match.

After years of waiting, Jasper deserves a family who will give him the love, exercise, and stability he’s been craving. If you’re not ready to commit to adoption just yet, fostering is also an option—Scout’s Honor Rescue covers all fostering expenses, so it’s a win-win for you and this amazing pup.

Let’s get Jasper out of boarding and into the loving home he’s been dreaming of! Fill out an application at www.scoutshonor.org and meet the boy who’s guaranteed to fill your life with joy, laughter, and endless tail wags.

Don’t wait—Jasper is ready to be your fetch-loving, car-riding, hug-giving best friend! ❤️

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

SHR will require an application and home visit for the adoption of any of our animals. The customary adoption fee is $150 for dogs $85 for cats.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Scout's Honor Rescue does not currently have its own facility to keep the animals in its adoption program. All animals in our program are fostered by individuals who keep the dog or cat at their residence until it is adopted. Consider opening your home to a dog or cat in need. You become the caregiver to a precious animal – their future is in your hands! It is incredibly rewarding to know that you have given that animal the two most precious gifts- Life and Love. For many of them, this is the first kind hand they have known.
