Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We adopted Phoebe over a year ago. She is ALWAYS ready to play - very energetic and would do extremely well with another dog or two in the house. She isn't one for cats, but she loves to play with dogs and people. She loves to be chased and have her ball thrown in the yard. She definitely needs space to run around, with plenty of time for daily exercise and attention or she gets restless. It's obvious she came from a working breed by how active she is! She's a cuddle bug at bedtime and wants to sleep near. She is deceptively goofy, hiding a lot of intelligence that shows when treats are near. She is very loyal and protective, and a little clumsy. She doesn't bark, unless someone is near the doors/house and she takes to training very quickly.
Sadly, changes in our family mean we will no longer have the space, time, or income to take proper care of her. I love her so much, but there is simply no way to make it work without sacrificing her needs and she deserves a fulfilling life.
