Update: On July 30, 2024 just shy of her 18th Birthday made her walk over the Rainbow Bridge. She will be sadly missed by all those here at Indian Summers Border Collie Rescue where she made her move 16 of those years.
5/12/2024 Update Chloe is now 17 years 8 months old and She is not letting the "Old Dog" in. Keep on
going Chloe. She is still eating and walking and enjoying her time with her "boyfriend". Their friendship is keeping her alive. Always in need of help for her special home made food and her many supplements. She has no sponsors and iit would be nice is someone showed they cared about an old dog in rescue.
Chloe has medical issues. Renal disease, Broken Hip, mended, Loss of vision and hearing. She is a 17 year old senior. Meet Chloe a senior/medical health issues Border Collie housed at the ISBCRezQ Silver Muzzle Club for Seniors. Chloe needs sponsors to ensure her continued good health for a 105 years old Grand Lady, that is15 years old in Dog time calculations. Indian Summers Border Collie Rescue is a multi faceted organization. With programs that address the many needs of the animals in its care. The Rescue programs takes in the homeless and needy and houses, rehabs, medically treats and then places each individual into the proper home and family best suited for that individual. The Shelter program houses, rehabs, medically treats those individuals that have a low rate of adoption for reasons such as but not limited to: behavioral issues, chronic heath issues either life threatening or medicated managed, such as cancer, autoimmune diseases, renal failure, spinal and skeletal maladies. The ISBCRezQ Shelter program offers a place for life to these individuals as well as Senior dogs at our Silver Muzzle Country Club. Our Senior and Shelter programs are run entirely via public donations. We run our non profit organization with an all volunteer, no paid staff, Your donations are tax deductible and 100% of your donation goes directly to the care of ISBCRezQ Border Collies. We Appreciate and Welcome Your Support of our life saving efforts.

Our Adoption Fees vary according to a percentage of the medical expenses paid for that individual and general care. Pre-Adoption applications via email are needed before scheduling your meet and greet. We request a reference letter from your Veterinarian on business letterhead displaying your address and phone number. All adopted animals are Spayed/Neutered and UTD on shots and treatments. Unless clarified otherwise. Being a Border Collie Breed Rescue we do require some knowledge of the breed's temperament, characteristics, and needs. If you are new to the breed we do suggest that you research to make sure that this breed is right for you. For those others that have been blessed with sharing their life with a Border Collie, you already know the wonder of this breed.
