Say hello to Theadora! Dora or Thea is just the sweetest and overloaded with energy. She is about a year old and 10 pounds. Her fur was trimmed but she can be a fluffy too. Dora hasn’t had any training that we know of. She spent her prior days hanging out with kids and doing whatever she wanted. So her adopter needs to know she more or less acts like a 3 month old puppy. Anyone can fall in love with this face but she needs a home that will be devoted to her for her training. We have started crate training and she does real well as long as you know she has recently went potty. When she goes outside it seems like that’s the last thing on her mind and we can be outside for 1/2 hour - and I know she has to go. She does use the PP pads in the house that are down for other pups. She knows sit, and knows stay - not saying she does it every time, but so much better than when she first got here. She’s definitely an Alfa dog and gets pretty bossy and plays rough with the other females. She’s seriously like a tomboy, and holds her own. We were told that Theadora is an escape artist, so this is very important if you have a home with people going in and out often, everyone will need to be extra careful, and she’s quick too. Dora has been spayed, UTD on vaccines, tested for heartworm and Lyme, both negative and is microchipped. We prefer adopters be within 1 hour drive of Claymont, DE 19703 area.
