Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Foxy is absolutely adorable. She is a 3 year old hound/beagle mix, so she has outgrown her puppy ways. She is 46 pounds and an absolute joy to be around. She was previously heartworm positive but has received treatment. Foxy is very independent and can be a bit stubborn. She needs a home where she can receive lots of positive reinforcement to convince her to try things the way that makes her humans happy!

More about this shelter

A not-for-profit organization, Monroe County Friends of Animals help the County by raising funds to build a new facility for our animals. It is called the Eastbourne Animal Center and has now replaced the old Monroe County Animal Shelter. They provide volunteers, fundraising events, grant writing and more. There is always a need for more volunteers. With a small budget, donations are a welcome necessity. We have developed educational programs to promote spay/neuter and humane care of all animals.
