My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bruno, a young, sweet, and friendly pup who`s got a zest for life that`s contagious. His curious nature makes every day an adventure, whether he`s sniffing out a hidden treat or solving a new puzzle toy. Bruno is a smart cookie, always eager to learn new tricks, especially if there`s a tasty reward involved. He knows `sit`, `stay`, `come`, `gentle`, and `shake`. His playful and energetic spirit is balanced by his love for cuddles and quiet moments. Bruno is a foodie at heart, delighting in all kinds of treats. He`s well-behaved, but he prefers to be an only child. Bruno`s perfect day would include a fun game of fetch, a treasure hunt for treats, and a cozy snuggle session. Bruno is looking for a forever home where he can be the star of the show. His loving personality and joyful spirit make him a wonderful companion. Adopt Bruno, and fill your life with endless love, laughter, licks and tricks.

More about this shelter

The Humane Society of Harford County, Inc., located in Fallston, Maryland, is a non-profit, open-admission animal support organization dedicated to providing shelter and care to the homeless, abandoned and abused animals of Harford County. We provide a safe and healthy temporary shelter and seek loving, permanent homes to ensure the long-term welfare of the animals we serve. Through education and advocacy, we promote the humane treatment of companion animals and work toward reducing, and ultimately eliminating, pet overpopulation in the county through low-cost spay and neuter programs.

We have welcomed more than 300,000 animals since 1946 and provide service to the community in conjunction with animal control to safeguard public health and safety. We strive to promote the special bond between humans and their companion pets in securing forever homes for our animals.

The Humane Society of Harford County serves nearly 4,000 animals each year. The animals include dogs, cats, ponies, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, bearded dragons, lizards, snakes, spiders, iguanas, turtles, ducks, turkeys, chickens, goats and pigs, to name a few. The majority of the animals we receive are cats (and kittens) and dogs (and puppies).
