My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hiya, I'm Laken! I was raised here at the Ranch as a puppy by my mama Lucy, and adopted when I was still a baby. Unfortunately my person had some allergies to me, and had to bring me back. I was very nervous to return, especially with the guys cause my old home was girls only. I've opened up a lot, but I think I'd do better in a home without little kiddies just so I'm comfortable in my new home. I'm very treat motivated, so once I start taking snacks from you, I'll be your friend for life! I'm still a young, spunky kind of gal, so I'll need a bit of training, though I already know how to sit, and I'm not bad on the leash either. I love long walks to help get my energy out! After I get out of my shell with you, I'm a totally different dog. I'm sweet, happy, playful, and a lover of snacks. I like to run around with other dogs, but sometimes I can be a bit rowdy for them and I'm also a little picky about dog friends. I think I just prefer people. If you give me a chance, I'll be your loyal beastie till the end!

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit our website adoptions page to complete an adoption application. at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. Once you have completed the application, we will contact you to let you know you have been approved and then you will be able to set up an appointment to come and meet dogs you are interested in. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
